1. Who is the operator
The personal data operator is sole proprietor Baigurzhin Shyngys (Kazakhstan), service "Bilim" (bilim.valmaty.kz). Contact details are at the end of this document.
2. What data we process
Parent: email, password (stored only as an irreversible hash), time of registration and sign-ins, the source of the visit (for example a utm tag), payment status and dates. We do not receive bank card data: payment happens on the side of the Robokassa payment service.
Child (entered by the parent): first name, last name and patronymic (optional), age, grade, language of instruction; short lesson notes (up to 15 entries of two short sentences: what was covered and where there were difficulties); uploaded textbooks and books.
During a lesson: the text of questions and answers is saved in the child's lesson history (up to 90 days, at most the last 600 messages) so the child can continue where they stopped and look at yesterday's lessons; the open book and page are remembered with it. A photo of a notebook or task and a voice recording of a phrase are passed on for processing and to produce the answer and are not stored on our servers (the history only notes that a photo was sent). A short lesson note is also kept.
Technical data: IP address and browser details in protection and rate-limit logs, a session cookie for sign-in. A visit counter (Google Analytics) may run on the public pages of the site.
3. Why
To run the account and child profiles, produce the helper's answers, adapt explanations to the grade and language, accept payments, protect against abuse, provide support and meet mandatory reporting. Data is not used for advertising and is not sold.
4. Who receives it (processors)
The Service uses: Cloudflare (hosting, database and file storage), Anthropic (the AI model that produces answers), ElevenLabs (speech recognition and speech synthesis), Robokassa (payments), Google (an internal request table with the registration email, and visit statistics).
Some of these services are located outside Kazakhstan, so data may be transferred to and processed in other countries. By registering, the User agrees to such transfer to the extent needed to run the Service.
5. Children
The Service is meant for a child to use under a parent's supervision. A parent or legal guardian registers the child and gives consent. We do not ask children for contact details, show advertising or create public profiles.
6. Retention and deletion
A child profile with its books, notes and lesson history is deleted immediately with the "Delete profile" button. A parent account is deleted with the "Delete account" button in settings or by an email to the address below; all profiles are deleted with it. Payment records are kept as long as accounting law requires.
7. Your rights
You may learn what data about you and your child we store, correct it, withdraw consent and ask for deletion. Write to the address below, we reply within 30 days.
8. Security
Only the account owner can access profiles, the password is stored as a hash, the connection is protected by HTTPS, sign-in is protected by a bot check and a limit on attempts, and service keys are kept in protected secrets.
9. Changes
A new version of the policy is published on this page. The version date is shown at the top.
